In reality the main perk of EXPcalibur is charged attacks, which are infinite and work regardless of durability even if it's 0. Since it has extremely low durability which depletes quickly they think this makes EXPcalibur very limited and useless in short time and almost not worth it.
Yes EXPcalibur is all about its charged attacks, some confuse thinking it's used for basic attacks. So just ignore the durability on EXPcalibur and don't worry about it, the charged attacks are unlimited.
